"Wow. well I was amazed to see a package slip in my mailbox today, but sure enough my Rock Pedal is here. It got here overnight, which I guess makes sense since we both live in florida....

Well I just finished my first play session and I am very impressed. I play on hard/expert but I would hardly call myself an expert drummer (spend a lot more time on the guitar). That said I really want to get better, and I feel one of the things that was holding me back was the stock pedal. I haven't played on drums since some time in early august when my last stock pedal broke, and I didn't want to send it in any more. Yesterday I got the new drums, so I have only had one day of practice in over a month. So with this pedal alone I was able to beat at least two songs that I could not beat before out of an inability to keep up with all the kicks: Maps and Welcome Home on expert, both of which I managed 4 stars on in my first go through ever. I also raised my score on Call Me 20,000 from my try yesterday on the new stock pedal.

I would say that if you are good at the drums and haven't moved on from the stock pedal, or are like me and just feel the stock pedal is restricting your ability to move forward, I would say jump on it. Its definitely not cheap of course, but I am very pleased with the results.

"I'm not an elite player like some of you guys, haven't even tried Pinball Wizard on expert but since the song is so weird on the bass kicks, I thought it would be a good opportunity to try out my Rock Pedal as soon as it came in.

My score on hard went from 45K 90ish% to 72K 99% straight out of the box.

I got my pedal last week just wanted to let you know how I was getting on with it.

Firstly I should say I'm married, and I don't devote 5 hours a night to Rock Band, I probably play 2-3 hours a week. When I got the pedal I was in the middle of expert tour, stuck on Paranoid to be exact. I just couldn't get the kick part at all. So when the pedal arrived I played a couple of songs just to get used to the feel, then I went into expert tour. I passed Paranoid first time. Since then I've gone back to the start of expert tour and I am destroying my previous scores. I'm hitting 5 stars where I could only get 4, getting 4 when I could only get 3 stars etc.

The pedal makes things so much easier. I'm now at the stage where my muscle memory is improving, leg speed is improving and stamina improving, where before I was stuck my my kick drum skills.

In short, thanks, the pedal is a great product and I'd recommend it for any player of an intermediate or above level, I know it has made a huge difference to me with just a few hours play."

"After going through more than 20 stock pedals ( yes 20 )and dealing with the RMA process with EA, I decided that it was really time to go with a real pedal. After talking with Jordan through emails, I decided that I was going to buy the Rock Pedal. Once I opened up the box, I plugged it in right away. Right away I could tell that this was going to be a great pedal. After a little calibrating of the pedal to my own playing style,I was noticing that I was having no double hits or missed hits.Anything that I missed was by my own fault. With the Rock Pedal, you can actually do the heel / toe method unlike with the stock pedal. You no longer have to worry about babying the pedal as this one will take all the abuse that you can dish out.

Why I waited to get this pedal is totally beyond me. I should have done this a long time ago. Myleg fatigue is down and my scores are up. Thanks for such a great little design. I highly recommend this pedal to anyone that is sick of the stock pedal and anyone that wants to improve their game. Oh, you can also use this pedal with a real drum kit as well. :-) "

"I received my Rock Pedal today and it's amazing! The stock, plastic pedal kept tipping over on my carpeting...I had to glue it to a piece of wood to keep it steady before it finally broke. I found your product while researching getting my pedal replaced (still waiting on that replacement). I am very impressed by the ease of installation of the rock pedal (even I can plug in a plug) and the high quality of the product. I can't imagine this thing will break. Oh, and a side-effect is that this pedal is far quieter than that plastic original one. I've adjusted the chain (thanks to your included tool) and now my foot doesn't hit the ground with a loud thud. It's easier on my foot and I can play into the night without annoying my downstairs neighbor!!"
